Care and maintenance
Before you begin cleaning or maintenance, always unplug the iron from the wall socket and allow it to cool down sufficiently.
STEP 1: Drain any remaining water from the water tank to prevent leakage during cleaning.
STEP 2: Wipe the ceramic sole with a soft, damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.
STEP 3: If polyester is baked onto the ceramic sole, wipe it off with a soft cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol. Then clean off any remaining rubbing alcohol with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
STEP 4: To remove deposits around the steam holes, use a cotton swab moistened with rubbing alcohol. Then wipe off the rubbing alcohol with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Preparation for use
Water type for use
This appliance was designed for use with tap water. However, if you live in an area with hard water, limescale buildup may occur quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to extend the appliance's lifespan.
Warning:
Do not use perfumed water, water from the tumble dryer, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, chemically softened water or other chemicals, as these may cause water splashes, brown stains or damage to the appliance.

Filling the water tank 1. Fill the water tank before use if the water level has dropped below the minimum. You can refill the water tank at any time during use. |

4. To increase the temperature of the iron, turn the temperature control clockwise until the desired temperature setting is reached. To decrease the temperature, turn the control knob counterclockwise. 5. Press the on/off button to turn on the steam generator. The indicator light will illuminate to show that the iron is heating up; the iron light will flicker while it is heating up. |
